Knock knock. Who’s there?
It’s Bulgaria offering you and a partner the chance to win a free holiday this year, worth up to €2,000.
And that’s no joke…
The Balkan nation, rich in heritage and tradition, flies a little under the radar of most British people when planning a European city break or summer escape. Yet with a sun-soaked coastline and its second city named as the 2019 European Capital of Culture, that’s not going to be the case for much longer.
But you can get your first taste of Bulgaria all in exchange for just making someone laugh. That’s right, Bulgaria - recently named the ‘saddest nation in Europe’ - wants a bit of a cheer up and so, who better to ask than the funniest nation on earth. After all, if travellers from the island that gave the world Fawlty Towers, Only Fools and Horses, Blackadder, Peep Show, Alan Partridge, and the never-ending improv comedy that is the Brexit process can’t raise a laugh, then who else can?
What You Can Win
In ‘The Great Swap’ competition, only open to British citizens over 18, three entrants can win a 6-night seaside holiday on the Black Sea Coast or a city break in Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, or Veliko Tarnovo catered to their preference to experience the city via its culture, nightlife, or foodie highlights.
All prizes are bespoke to you, but will include return flights UK-Bulgaria, accommodation, full or half-board, insurance, plus selected meals and activities for two people. You will not be there as part of a group or tour either, so can experience Bulgaria in the way you enjoy best.
How To Enter
For a chance to win a cultural city break or a seaside break in the summer sun, here’s all you have to do:
1 - Visit The Great Swap website
2 - ‘Start Your Journey’ and answer a few easy questions to find your favourite Bulgarian destination
3 - Submit your joke and details to enter the prize-draw.
Simple right? Entries close on 31st March 2019 (only three weeks away!), and the winner will be announced by 15th April 2019. And remember, this competition is only open to British citizens above the age of 18.
